So I got a question I would like everyone to answer. Who thinks 19 classes are a good idea?

Rainey the class u are refering to looks like last years class. I don't see where it says that for this year. You are exactly right people crying about classes and making rule changes is the fastest way for the club to hurt it's self. I think the guys have done a great job of trying to make a class for everyone. Not all have fast bikes. Yes some do and they have their class, but still some don't. Donkey, once again. ? why are you so worried if there are 20 classes? You talk about it not being fun, well maybe what you think is fun others don't. My guess is that they made more classes so others can race and have a chance to win. If someone wins they might be back, if they loose big, they are likely to not to be back at all. Just drop it and move one. If it dosn't work I am sure they will fix it. Your just making my point even stronger about crying...... Please stop crying and try to post something positive for a change if you are a true supporter of this club.

You sure do a good job of making my point fun racer. You must a complex issue btw.... I haven't cried once. Looks like everyone else did that so they added so many classes.
Make the rules and classes set in stone soon. That way when I send my time and money to have my bikes run well in certain classes all these fun racers can't complain. Looks to me like until a classes is made for every single member to win a trophy they won't be happy. How about the concept of building your bike to win instead of adding a ton of classes. I can promise that adding classes will not help.
Hey coach it looks like we need to do E.t racing at every race to make things fair. I am ok with that too. Heads up racing isnt about equality. It's about making your bike as fast as possible within the rules. If you still do heads up racing at the fairs then the same people will want alot of changes and even new classes I promise that.

I don't think I have seen anyone post anything about changing rules mid season. I am sure they learned their lesson on that so I don't know why you are worrying so much. I think it has been said enough on here that you don't need to keep beating a dead horse. Stop trying to stir up problems that don't exist!!!!!! If you don't want changes, why are you pointing out that they have too many classes. If they do anything at this point they will be doing exactly what you are telling them not to do .....MAKE CAHNGES, the classes are posted, go with what they have, show up and race. Come on, suport the clubs decesion to have these classes, after all the club voted on these classes. can you at least do that? ? my guess is you will post something else, again, beating the dead horse, trying to get some else stirred up to support YOUR opinion. All most people want is to be able to come race in a class with some close compition. why cant you see that?? If in fact you are right, it will show and you can say I told you so, until then let it play out!

Thanks for the reply coach... Hope everyone can have a blast this year racing. Let's have some rules Written in stone cause I have change or two to make and maybe a third bike and I don't race to lose. I do play by the rules though and wanna make sure I am within them.
Btw still to many classes...lmao

index is only way u can get what u guys want say donkey runs a 4.5 and mace runs a 5.0 that put them in same 4.5-5.0 index class but i think if u guys run et for kids it make it fair because lot kids running at the tracks dont have money to build a fast bike because thiere mom or dad spent the money on thier ride if u dont make it fair for kids racing this sport will die it been a big topic on planet sand latley how ppl been unfair cheeting is killing the sport this sport is for fun if u think ur going to make money at it u should quit now the best thing about most races u go to is hanging out with other racers and hopeing ur friends do good i meet lot good ppl at races and many friends that more to me than winning
how ever index and et races dont bring out the best bikes in drag raceing but is the best way to make it fair .5 sec is very close when ur racing
this just my 2 cents about it i may come off as a asshole but i am not i willing to help any one at track i just know if the bs keeps up more ppl will quit racing and anouther track will close

As for myself, other than the few times that we have been down to the garage, the only time that we are around Brent is when we are racing. I have to say that what I have read through all of this bashing, I am learning more and more about him (didn't know that he was arrested, none of my business). I personnally do not have anything against Brent or anybody else, I am there to watch and help out anywhere I can. Most of what I do is behind the scene and I am usually to busy to concern myself with what is happening outside of the box. I am man enough to put my name in my login, so that everyone knows what I post and I don't think anyone that does not have their name in their login or listed beside of their login should be slamming anyone else. I have been on here once this winter and after hearing what has been going on decided to check it out again. This is crazy and I think that it either needs to stop or some changes needs to take place in the way people log on.
The rules didn't change last year, they just wasn't spelled out as well as they should of have been. What we do at the fair races is to try to draw more people in, not show them how well our members can beat their bikes. We have set up classes so that the members can compete with each other and the newbees (or ones that can't afford to modify their bikes) can compete with themselves, that is the main reason for all of the classes.
This was started so that it could be a fun family type of entertainment, not a place where adults(?) could think that they can get rich over beating someone else. This can be competitive and be FUN if we don't take it as life and death.

Jcarr heads up drag racing isn't fair...it's not made to be fair. It's about building the fastest bike to win within the rules. Tryn to please everyone to make it fair should be done with E.t racing or even index racing. As of now the only classes setup for stock bikes is the utility classes and the 450 class kinda. Even now with the utility classes all you have to do is buy the fastest stock bike and you win.
Who in the world thinks they can get rich btw.... I have spent thousands and thousands to have fun not make a dime back. I didn't know full throttle ever paid money back btw so again I don't see why anyone would think the could get rich.

If you figured out how to make money racing please let me know. If someone has figured out how to break even on just the entry fees to tracks, classes and how to pay for the fuel to get us to a race I'd love to know. We can eat the racing fuel, maintenance and repair costs to bikes. If we can cut our cost a few dollars I can prolly order a couple extra sets of brake pads. I'm sure the brush at the end of the track will appreciate not getting ran over this year. lol

donkeykong the reason they have so many classes is to be fair. heads up racing is tuff to make fair. i have a stock 450cc 4stroke and a 400cc is close in motor size but the power is not fair. i can blow the doors off a 400cc. now i can beat a stock 350cc 2stroke but a modified 350cc 2 stroke can blow my doors off most of the time. and you can keep going on and on. we have tried racing by times and that is confusing and takes alot of time. so the only solution is to race somebody on the same level of bike. not everybody has a bunch of money to sink in there bikes. this is for fun but nobody wants to lose all the time because there racing a bigger bike and nobody wants to win all the time racing smaller bikes. well i feel that way. i hope now you understand why they have the classes they do.

I understand the idea but would u rather have 3 bikes to racing in a class or 6-10? I will benefit from the class changes honestly. I will have between 7-9 classes to race. I have a 450 to race also. I have a bike to run in the lower 4 stroke classes and I have my v-force which is a 798 now. So I won't have much down time between classes. If index racing is a option I will help run it. It went well the last time it was ran that way.

really it dont matter to me how many classes or how many are in my class. dont get me wrong its nice to have 7 or so but if i want to race more i just sign up for more classes. and that also helps the full throttle race team with entry fees. it dont cost much to run anyway. i race harescrambles and GPs so my bike is not set up for drag. i just come out when i can for fun. ive brought a few people out but it seems like there is always confusion or such a long process. i like to hang out but i show up to race heads up and go home. same with my other racing. i come to chat a little, race, go home. i wouldnt worry about the classes. race whatever classes you want. your still gonna line up alot. if they dont have a whole lot of classes then i think they will get less entry fees. i understand it takes money to put this series on. i dont know if im even racing 2011. depends on my other race schedule. hope everything works out for full throttle racing this year. you guys might see the hawk sometime.
